There is some excellent mule deer hunting in the Panhandle of Texas. Hunters can expect to see large numbers of deer in some of the roughest country in the State of Texas. We have access to 25,000 acres of prime mule deer country that is strictly managed. Hunters will use two different methods of hunting during the hunt. Early mornings and late afternoons will be spent hunting wheat fields, food plots and trails leading out of canyons to food sources. During the middle of the day, time will be spent doing spot and stalk hunting. Hunters will have the opportunity to harvest a deer in the 150 to 180 B&C range. The deer average 22 to 25 inches wide with deer in the high 20’s not being uncommon. There are bigger deer taken every year which is a great bonus for the hunter. We do not charge additional trophy fees. The season for mule deer is short so the number of hunts is limited. Book your hunt early.
